3 Frames FS: Litespeed, Lotus and Atala content inside

Hi All,

Went through a couple different frames to find the right fit for me, so here we are.

Litespeed Catalyst ~1992 - $650 plus shipping - 53cm seat tube (54.5 CTT) 54 CTC top tube: You can find specs here . Picked this up on Ebay hoping it would be short enough, no dice. Really nice original condition. You can see all the pictures here

198X Lotus Classique - $150 plus shipping - 50CM seat tube. 57CM top tube CTC this one is from my uncles vault. Very nice all original paint and decals. Original headset and fork included. You can see all the pictures here

Atala...something - $50 OBO - 52cm square - You can see this one is pretty beat. I've never been able to get the BB cups off. In order to remove them you would need a pin spanner that would fit perfectly in there. I guess this would be a good winter project, but it is Spring. so who knows. Please note crank is gone. You can see all the pictures here

If you messaged me, apparently I need some more posts to be able to access my private messages. I'll make some more today and hopefully will be able to get back to anyone who sent me a pm.

Last frame is a Record Professional. Says it right there on the top tube! Top of the line model, built with full Columbus SL butted tubing. Too bad the fork's gone missing.

Hey many thanks! Yeah the "record" part is pretty much gone up there so wasn't sure. Nice riding frame but needs a full strip and repaint to achieve glory.

The Professional is supposed to be Columbus steel, but it's got a Reynolds label. I had a Competezione that I loved in the same color scheme, which I think is as beautiful as any bike I've ever seen, which is also supposed to be Columbus, but mine had a Reynolds 3 tubes label, in English.

I'm tempted by the Atala frame... I'm only about an hour away from you, so I could come pick it up, but it would be on the small side for me, I usually prefer a 54. Thinking about it... Might be good for my better half, too.

Your photo link doesn't seem to work--I'm assuming the photo in the thread doesn't show a fork because there isn't one?

My own Record Pro (late-60s era) is Reynolds 531, so they do exist in that form.

Rides pretty nicely, and has a lot of room for fat tires.

Correct, no fork. I built this up fixed many (foolish) years ago and the fork has since been misplaced. You guys are tempting me to restore to former glory

Shoot, that Lotus is way too small for me, but I love the color scheme with the icy yellow and blue lettering. Very classy. GLWTS

Yeah that yellow is neat, has a great metal flake to it that looks very different in certain light. Thanks!
