FS 1994 Specialized Allez
56 cm frame. It has always been a little too big for me at 5'7" and a 30 inch jeans inseam.
Description:
In 1994, there were 3 or 4 versions of the Allez. this is the plain one. I think that there were 2 above it and one below it at the time. (Allez Sport < Allez < Allez Comp < Allez Pro). One owner, bike. 56 cm frame. It has always been a little too big for me at 5'7" and a 30 inch jeans inseam. It has been a wall hanger since (basically) 2013. Original Campy Stratus brakes and hubs, Omnicron rims. Upgraded drive train with Campagnolo racing triple front and rear derailleurs and Centaur 9 speed brifters around 2000. Somewhere along the line I added a high end Body Geometry saddle as well. Paint is good with a few blemishes. If you dont like the Gatorskins, I can probably dig up some decent GP4000 tires with some life left in them. This was my only bike until it's retirement, so it has thousands of well cared for miles on it. Pictures to come....It is hard to see the color from the pictures, but it is kind of a really dark purple/blackish. The decals contrast color really pops.
I tried to read the SN, but it was not really very visible under the paint.

Too big for me, but that looks like the deal of the day. Love the color.

That is an exceptional deal. Allez doesn’t really usually draw me but this does...

I have a '94 Allez Pro and and it amazes me, it's in my rotation with customs and flashy Italians.
