1978 Chris Kvale updated.

This is a 1978 Chris Kvale that had new posts added 2 years ago for Paul Racer brakes. The work was done by Chris and he did the repaint. Chris Kvale is a well respected Minneapolis builder that has been building bikes since the 70's. He is well know for his thinned lugs. It now takes a tire up to 33c. I can't find a blemish at all on the frame.

This frame is 64cm seat tube (CtC) and 60cm top tube. It was made from a mix of Columbus Sp and 4130. It is built up with 2x9 Shimano 105 with a long cage deraileur. 46cm Soma Hwy bars with a Nitto Tecmonic stem that will go higher than pictured. Chris King headset. Paul Racer brakes. FSA Carbon Pro compact crank 50x34. 32 spoke Matrix Aurora rimes with brand new Panracer Gravel Kings 700x32. The saddle is not included but can add for an additional $75.

I can sell the frame, fork,King headset and Paul brakes for $700 including shipping to the continental US.

Bikes: Was Fuji and got my grails (Pro, Pro SR, Design Series, & Ti). Now I hunt 50's and older road bikes.

Wow! I've wanted a Kvale for a little while. I wish this was a little bit smaller.

Thanks everyone. This frame is truly immaculate and it and what they say about Chris Kvale's beautifully thinned lugs is true.

With the suburban sprawl finally reaching us I am not riding on the road as much as I use to. The only time I feel safe is early mornings on the weekend and I have too many bikes for too little road time.
