Question - Is Worthpoint (or Terapeak) Worth It?

This isn't a for sale or parts wanted post, so it seems appropriate for this forum. Once I've sold off a few more frames in my collection, I'm going to move on to the deep bins of vintage parts I've got hoarded up. I like to think I have a good sense of where items should be priced, but was wondering whether a subscription to Worthpoint or Terapeak is particularly useful in the vintage bike world. Does anyone here have a subscription or had one in the past? Do you think it's worth the money?

thanks!

I do not have either..........but I do plenty of searches for various items and in many instances Worthpoint is the only result I get. I would like to have it but I'm cheap so I don't have it. If you buy and sell used items for a living I would imagine it is worth it.

Thinking again, of course they've built a sales database with prices, hopefully with dates and locations so there is that. I'm not sure how detailed the info is.
Based on the OP's quality and perhaps quantity of items, it could be of real value. That way he wouldn't have to resort to using the irksome and biased opinions found in the Appraisals thread.
Yes, I'm irked but I loved that Zunow!!

to be clear, I don't use the appraisals subforum. i typically price things based on taking the lowest "buy it now" price on eBay and then discounting it further. At minimum, by 14% to account for their fees, and at maximum sometimes hundreds of dollars less if I can tell that the one or two examples of an item have silly high prices and haven't sold for months or years.

Still, Worthpoint and Terapeak show what things actually sold for, and I would imagine have a much deeper database. Was hoping that some folks here might have or have had a subscription and could share their opinion.
