I haven't had this De Rosa for about 4.5 years now, but it certainly qualifies as red.

1965 Dilecta LeBlanc. One of my favorite rides. Candy apple red faded to pink. Rescued from fixed gear operation.

Tomato red Ken Ryall from 1961, with an anachronistic mishmash of parts, during today's easy 103 km ride towards the "CW5000". (I wonder if anyone else here is doing this.)

We may have discussed this in the past, but I don't recall it, so here goes.. this is the first Paisley I've seen outside of the Peoria area. There was a small local bike show in 2018, and a couple of friends displayed their Paisley machines. One was a Paisley trike built in 1987, which was pretty neat, and the other was a track bike. Apparently Scott Paisley was building in Ohio in the 80's. Beyond these few examples, I don't know anything about Paisley's work. It looks like he did nice work, though!

Here are shots of the Paisley track bike, in a salmon-ish, almost pink paint scheme (keeping it on topic for this thread!)

He does great work, was Masters Cyclocross champion as recent as 2019? and still runs an LBS.

Acquired since the last go-round on this thread, a clone of genejockey 's '89 Circuit (I think it's even the same size):

Alas, the Santé RD had been swapped with something modern, so I installed a contemporary Dura Ace from the 2020 Madison swap. I also managed to get the brake hoods a little bit lighter, just not burning-magnesium white.

Picked this up just before things locked down. We only rode it a couple times. Now I'm in search of a stoker (or possibly a pilot). Would of course be appropriate for Valentine's day, but....:

Been procrastinating on the bar tape, one brake lever was damaged, and I still haven't settled on what replacement pair to use.

This was one of my wife's favorite go-to bikes for rail-trail rides. Apologies for the NDS photo, it's all I have:

Occasional grocery-getter. Free on a "curb alert" CL ad. There was some gray paint over the branding on the top-tube and downtube; wife manage to remove it and preserve the branding. Required some parts; just happened to have a Kona branded saddle in "the bin":

Cool bike, and a new make for me. Question: What can you tell me about those black bottle cage holders with the cutouts in the middle?

The Dilecta brand dates way back to the end of the 19th century in Indrie Le Blanc France. Never imported to North America to my knowledge, this own was given to me by a friend who was living in Montreal Quebec. Quite famous and had teams in the Tour de France a number of times. The Pelissier brothers of hub fame ( the bike has newer Pelissier hubs laced to Super Champion rims)

were involved with racing and the bikes. I may have more on the bike in the original post https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-v...ench-bike.html
The straps for the bottle holders came with the bike and are black painted steel also likely sixties vintage. They have no manufacturers information on them but are of nice construction. I still have them years later and have not found a new home for them. A Zefal classic bottle holder resides on the bike presently. The is a Facebook page I put together for the brand which recently has been revived. They made motorcycles as well.

Always happy to post this one. At least there are some changes since last year's February post. If you can identify them, you may be spending too much time here.

on the subject of pink bikes, there was a beautiful pink Jack Taylor touring bike at the 2016 Classic Rendezvous event! So cool!
