You’ve only made 8 posts so far, 10 is the minimum. Post 2 more times somewhere on the forum and then you can post your Hetchins here.

You can add pics to your album and they may get merged here too.

You don’t need an album to post photos, you can post photos directly from your device after post 10.

On your public profile page if you click on your handle but just post 1 more time and then try again here.

We love to see any Hetchins and don't get to see anywhere near enough of them, especially older ones.

Wow! What a thread, and even a Harding. I remember Charlie Harding selling those in his shop in west Los Angeles in the 1970s.

1974 Bob Jackson
A one-owner bike, more or less back in its original configuration, it has a Brooks Pro saddle. It has a 2X5 Campagnolo drive train, brakes, pedals and seat post and a Regina Oro chain.
The wheels are replacements bought in about 1984 from Performance Bike Shop that are still going strong (sealed bearing hubs and MAVIC MA-2 rims). Yes, I got my money's worth from them.
We have gone everywhere together - informal racing, loaded bike camping, touring,... you name it.

All Lovely Bicycles!
Just an observation: In your opinion are the mid 1980's Raleigh consumer bicycles made in Japan considered to be British?
I only ask because I have a few...
Here is my unfinished project the Raleigh Twenty:

Regret selling my Bob Jackson Track bike. Found in a storage container at Dominguez Hills Velodrome early 1990's and apparently owned by a German Sprint Champion from the 70's. Bars and saddle from me.

A valid question, especially now that most bikes are made in Taiwan and mainland China.
The answer is probably a personal one.

To me, my 'Irish' bike built in England, is English.
All my other bike frames/forks were made in the country they represent.
