First road bike ride in a looooong time.

First road bike ride in forever. I had forgotten how much fun it was. I am really amped right now...

The old girl I bought and refurbished in January is riding very nicely. It has a minor chain rub during heavy effort -and I'll correct they - but it's a great ride!

Screen grab from the GoPro. It just looks cold. It's 56F (13C)

Beater bike next to the beater car. Very contented with this!

Fun part is getting use to clipping in the petals again. After all winter not having to think about it.

Good on you Spud! Every time I take one of the road bikes out (almost daily) I still feel that thrill and the endorphin high when I get home. It's great!

That is neither a beater bike nor beater car. Modern Classics I’d say. Spring is a kick. We don’t have it here but I grew up with it and remember my sore buttocks sitting at school on the Monday after the roads cleared.

Yes. Soon as I figure out how to keep the crank arm from hitting the little offset sucker I'll swap them

Imagine how much fun it will be when you get that saddle level!

Cool bike, I'm not familiar with with the marque, what's the story?

It's a beater with a heater and a stereo. Rebuilt title, rusty underneath, handles like a garbage barge because it's bent. Has 200k miles, and it gets me to work before the snow plows are out. The two vehicles have much in common.
