Wow!

I just might be able to store another 25 bikes, but how to transport them? I'd have to rent a u-haul. Let me talk to my wife about this. If it's stuff like English three speeds, I might be able to make a profit on them. People around here want commuting bikes.

I emailed the guy with the lots of bikes. He said I could manage by renting a cargo van for $50. I just might do it. He said they're mostly mountain bikes.

Classic 70'sGitane Tour de France - $225 (CoronaDelMar)

I have had this classic French touring bike since 1971! It is, I think a 24 inch bike and was considered pretty racy for its time with a Reynolds aluminum frame, lightweight crank, Mafac wheels and all-Campagnolo componenets. It has always been fitted with sew-up tires but has none on it now. This would make a very cool retro street racer after being stripped down, powder-coated and refitted with the latest wheels and components.

No idea, is this a nice bike?

It is my size! But I don't like celeste... Also, the stuff I can see clearly is definitely not C-record. Looks more Chorus-y to me.

Reply to: sale-funph-1262656246@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Hello!
I'm selling my aunt's 1987 Fat Chance, the first mt. bike I ever rode. Sadly, while it fit me when I was 12, it's too small for me now. It measures 17.5" from the center of the hub to the top of the seatpost, and 21" from the headset to the top of the seatpost. It's all original, the fork has never been swapped for a shock. Hasn't been used much for several years. I've done a bit of research to figure out a fair price, and came up with $400.
Here are some photos:

Serious inquiries only please.

Large (would suit riders over 6 feet tall) Vintage super mondea Reynolds 531 Road Bike.

Capagnolo crank, gian robert competition rear derailleurs, campy toe clips, seat post, downtube shifters. 6 speed cassette in back. Front wheel built around shimano hub.

All in good working order (a little rust, needs some TLC). Frame is recently resprayed, decal preserved.

Looking for a new home as am leaving the country. E-mail to arrange viewing.

Selling due to leaving the country to a place where it would get eaten alive.

Allegro (Swiss) 61cm frameset in SF BayArea (Mill Valley) with 25.8 Campy seatpost for $250, says it's 1977 and 531...looks nice but I question that seatpost size: I have a '75 and it's metric 531, but takes a 26.6 (a typical size for this)

Original owner, always stored indoors, not ridden much in the last 20 years, good Columbus framed (steel) bike with Shimano 600 group. Not raced or abused. I’m 5’7” and it was slightly too big for me – probably about a 53cm frame. I have more photos at your request. $400 obo.

Fuji racing bike with Shimano shifters. Very light frame is 24.5" from the bottom of the seat to the center of the pedal crank shaft, 31" from crossbar to ground, 23" from seat post to handlebars. Adjustable, but currently fitted to me at 5'8". Purchased when I was training for triathlons, but I've moved onto other sports and I'd like to have the space on my porch. Needs new tires for sure - not sure what else. It's been sitting for so long, it needs a good cleaning and attention from somebody who knows bikes.
