I just put a deposit on a 2021 Specialized Chisel in Gloss Raspberry. I’m more of a blue or black guy myself but i think the raspberry is a cool color. Because of the bike shortage most shops say they won’t get bikes for a few months and they will be 2022 models and 2022 colors. I’m in no rush to get a bike and if there is a color that I might like better I would wait a few months. Anyone know the 2022 colors?

Shame you can't get the metallic green frames they sell in Europe. But, for '22, the colors haven't been announced yet. (Specialized is normally tight lipped about all of this stuff, so I wouldn't expect to hear anything from the magazine writers who have already been given sneak peeks or from employees of the company.)

Plenty of bikes out there to choose from if you look in the right places. I wouldn't wait around based on color. Nobody (including yourself) looks at the color of their bike or others bikes while riding.

I wouldn't worry a ton about color and waiting for 2020 if you have something on order that bike is for you keep it, if you haven't ordered than get what you can get.

What I can tell you is that for each region of the world different color models are distributed, for the 2022 models in Latin America they have the following colors: satin smoke / gloss tarmac black and gloss Maroon / ice papaya for the base models, for the models comp are Gloss Red tint fade over brushed silver / tarmac black / white w / Gold Pearl and Satin Light Silver / Gloss Spectraflair.

Those "few weeks" will turn into a "few months."
