2013 Trek Fuel EX 6 worth it?

Have the chance to pick up a '13 Trek Fuel EX 6 (26 inch) that is well used, but not thrashed for 400$. Will likely need a tuneup and new tires. If I can do the wrenching, does this sound like a good deal? I am not new to bikes, but I'm less familiar with more modern stuff and their value (especially used). I still am very much a beginner too, only other modern MTB I have/ridden is my '18 Giant Talon 2.

Is this a "DO IT THAT'S A GOOD DEAL!"

or more like "yyyyeah its a pretty good deal if...."

a good deal if the suspension isn't trashed.check the rear pivot rocker for cracks,I had a 2011 ex9-super ride but tubing is very thin-makes it ez to dent.make sure it fits you also.

It's a coworker's bike actually, and I'm testing it out for a bit first, so I can confirm it does fit. I even took it out for a ride, suspension feels like it's still working decently. Didn't see any obvious cracks on quick inspection, but I'll look more closely. I'll clean it up some and take some pics to post.

I think that bike retailed for about $2000, so if it's still in good shape and you want it, $400 seems like a great price. But condition matters a lot. If you have to replace parts, costs can go up quickly.
