Addiction 2022.2

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I haven't gotten to that point - you must put out a lot more wattz.

I wouldn’t want to test that theory with the massive amount of Watts I put out.
They're just patsies for Big Quick Link.

that is a supposition and can't be stated as fact. It's a stupid idea and with or without a camera lives would be lost and serves as no deterrent.

Stupid? Wow. No, the point was not to save lives, but to answer whether it was intentional or not. Which is a question in a few of these.

You are never going to prevent someone from doing something crazy like crash a plane or any of the other events that occur every day. Cameras would simply provide a record of events just as the FDRs do now. The FDR doesn't stop anyone from crashing a plane or from a plane crashing in the event of a malfunction, and certainly doesn't deter anything. All recorders of any type do is collect data.

When I did the R8000 build on the Litespeed, I made the chain 2 links longer than Big/Big, and discovered it had slack, so I opened the Shimano Quick Link I'd JUST installed, cut out a link, and put it back together with the same Quick Link. I did a quick check, and people DO reuse them without incident, but I figured I'd order a couple KMC links anyway.

Which reminds me, I really should actually order those.....

The mount with the bands won’t stay centered when you ride, sometimes turning completly around, (still didn’t help me). anywho he created a mount for the madone and he hooked me up today. He said he will make blue ones soon, but I’m pretty stoked just to have it as is.
I'm sorry but even with the explanation, I don't know what I'm looking at.

This one was pretty slow. Given it was right in the middle of the trail sunning it must have been a little cold still.

For the record, I used to reuse quick links until I broke a couple. Now, I check them carefully for looseness where the side plate and the pin join as that seems to be where they break apart at. Also, I don't mix quick links and chain manufacturers as there is some variation.

It's a type of snake, not another name for a snake.
