Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I think I paid just under $300 for mine, back in 1988. Came with a 6 speed freewheel and non-series Shimano drivetrain.

What's going to happen if a solar storm knocks out many of the cell towers?

As a Christmas present to yourself? Next Spring? Whatever that timeframe is, is it worth $150 to have power between now and then? Personally, unless I had firm plans to swap groups before the end of the summer, I wouldn't waste the season thinking about it - I'd get the pedals and take the picket fence out of my ass.

See, this guy is right, and he is always right, even when he is wrong he is right.

I like Greek salad: tomato, cukes, thinly sliced onion, kalamatas, feta, oil, vinegar, a spritz of lemon juice, black pepper. Sometimes I omit the venegar and just do oil and fresh lemon juice.

Assuming your "already made salad" is a pile of romaine, maybe some leaf lettuce. Yep, throw all that stuff on there.

If you're just looking for dressing, this is my favorite on non-Greek salads, but I still put it on undressed Greek salads too
