First, one of the guys slid about 20' down a 12-pitch section of the roof and caught himself with one heel on the gutter. Thankfully he did not go off and get hurt.
Second, after they were done, I put a roofing nail through the heel of my shoe and into my heel while mowing. That was not fun.
I've roofed a few houses, and have learned life lessons from that experience. The most important was do not go out on a drinking binge the night before you have to be working on a roof during a hot and humid St. Louis summer day.

OooOOOOooo - Michelin has brand new tires out that I hadn't heard of - the Power Cup series, which are supposed to be their fastest and as fast or marginally faster than the new Conti S TR. I might have to look in to these for the next set of tires, later this year.
