Does anybody know if the Kinetic Traxle adapter will work with Elite trainers?

I've got an Elite Volare trainer. It still works great but my new bike has 12mm thru axles. The Elite thru axle adapter has mixed reviews, is not readily available and is not cheap. The Kinetic Traxle is cheaper, has good reviews and is available locally but they couldn't tell me if it will work with another brand's trainer. Anybody know?
