Have a pleasant day everyone.
Early evening sorted Campagnolo brakes, derailleurs, pedals and shifters yesterday early evening.
Things have piled up!
then washed hands throughly and put on baking hat.
NY cheesecake was cool to refrigerate by the time the bars close up
pumpkin pie cooling.
my crust trick is to freeze butter and shortening then grate it, weigh in grams then add it in.
so much easier to confirm a dough that is not overworked. Metric is much easier.

Most of us likely know what a PITA pie crust can be so.....
My wife, an accomplished baker, cook, etc. from a long line of Kansas farming families said she thinks this is brilliant genius and will be incorporating it into her process.
She normally works from the seat of her pants with Betty Crocker for the specs so this is a big deal to get her attention.
Tx for sharing this secret, many guard them with their life.

Happy Thanksgiving stopped at Daughter's Boyfriend's Parent's house & talked cycling with his Dad. an avid long distance group rider. always good to find common ground, even if my own riding is different
