Yesterday, my usual 23+ miler with 1,100 gain. A bit on the chilly side but milder than what will be following for the next few months.

You managed 63 miles by just all of that weaving and bobbing?

Just under 23 but 1,300 of climbing by varying the route and creating a Figure 8 by crossing the Ship Canal via the Ballard Locks (walking only) and then climbing the switchbacks up out of Golden Gardens Park.

35 Miles O.D. Feeling a little shortchanged, might have to leverage the decent weather day..

15 miles today. I correctly guessed that I was facing a 20 mph headwind most of the outward half of the ride. It was enough to reduce my pace a bit.

I quite like that type of wind because it makes a relatively flat route have some real periods of high effort just as a matter of normal riding without having to make a conscious choice to do interval training.

With the leaves down, wind will be the norm during winter, but usually between 10 to 15 mph. 20 mph is a rather blustery day around here.

Today 36 miles after 35 yesterday. Had to take advantage of the weather. Did break a drive side spoke on the last little hill. 2nd one in 1500 miles. Guess I need to stock up on spokes. And move up the timetable for carbon wheels.

17 miles. A typical winter look around here: overcast, 39 deg F, 20 mph winds and occasional bits of sleet or something. Delightful! Not surprisingly, only a handful of folks out on the trails. And this temperature means I have to warm up about as much as cool off when I’m done. 😊

Don't know about the distance but it was 1 hour on the indoor Trainer (not smart). Does that count?

Just hop off the bike a couple feet beforehand! Not really a recommended bike cleaning method.

23 miles today. Still 40F, still 20 mph wind, but sunny and no sleety stuff. Pretty nice. 👍

Weather was sketchy this morning when it was supposed to be sunny in the mid 60's, was heavily overcast, some light rain and in the 50's, so I decided to ride inside, but picked a rouvy route that kicks my butt each time, but I still try and ride it here and there. It's just 12 miles, but has 4.7k ft of grueling incline, but today, I did 8 miles and 3.2k ft of it before my legs gave out. Sucks living in the flat lands. Right about the same time, the skies cleared, the sun came out, the temp went up and I went for a second ride, did 15 tough wind driven miles just killing my legs that much more.

didn't break a leg though. Weather was not allowing it today. Instead, I climbed some ladders, did some CAT6 stringing. Later on after all that fun, worked with the chop saw & TIG to get ahead & clear out some work orders. It heated up the work area & provided some indoor tanning.

32 miles today. Mid 40s, sunny and even windier. Massive headwinds on the way out. Fairly brutal on my SS MTB, but a beautiful view along the river trail with some of the leaves down and the sun peering low thru the trees.

I imagine many of you read about the weather, flooding and landslides in Western Washington over the last two days. But then today it cleared. I combined two shots for the panorama and the arrow shows where it was taken - Sunset Park. One of my Go-To rides. 15 or so miles and 700 feet.
