A painting in honor of Merckx and Sercu

I've been doing pop art portraits for about 20 years, and I've been wanting to do this one for a long time. I was hoping to complete it before his stage record was officially broken. Cheers to the greatest rider ever, and rest in peace Patrick Sercu.
Eddy Merckx / Patrick Sercu. 1974 Tour.
32" x 48" Acrylic on masonite coated with clear epoxy resin.

Merckx and Sercu periodically did Madison races in Germany as a team. I won't call them "6's" as they were not the 6 day continuous races of old.

Thanks. Yeah, here's a few of my recent and not so recent work. Not much in the way of cycling stuff other than this Rita Hayworth. I'd like to do more cycling related pieces.

Great stuff. I like the Johnny Rotten the best, but I am biased.

A 200% scale Johnny Rotten? Awesome! I literally have no space for large art. It is a good thing in that I don't care much for over-scaled homes. It's a bad thing because that would be fantastic to hang.

Do you have a website of what is available?

I have a website joeymaas.com. I don't have anything listed as available because when you show in galleries, they don't like that. But I haven't had any art shows in the past year for obvious reasons and I need to rebuild it to sell current pieces. That's going to be my next project. I can send you photos of what's available if you're interested.
