What tires do we run? Just curious

Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I loved the ride with the Strada Bianca's but the allure of Pirelli's and the sticky rubber was too enticing to pass up. They grip like glue, handle the road really well and corner great. I bought a new set since the originals wore out and just mounted them today.

I do really miss the Strada Bianca ride though and ride quality is most important to me. With latex they ride like old sew-ups and have that same hiss hiss sound on the pavement when accelerating. I have two new tires on the shelf and may switch to them when summer hits. I run Challenge Paris Roubaix's with Latex tubes on my Wabi Classic. It doesn't get much action these days for some reason though.
What tires do y'all ride with and why?
700c continental giro tubulars on my 1981 Schwinn LeTour, with Ambrosio Montreal alloys. Beautiful carbon steel ride. 😁

After trying to get the lowest rolling resistance and decent puncture resistance, my ultimate ride has been Continental Grand Prix 5000’s 28mm with RideNow TPU tubes. Finding my rides are that much more enjoyable, and climbing better, with the low rolling resistance and lower weight.

With my State Bicycle Black Label bought three months ago, have gotten in 500 miles and 50,000 ft altitude gained, and likely not possible if I had something other than the Conti GP 5k’s!

My winter/rain/city fix gear (circa '83 Trek 4 or 5 something) - 28c Paselas. Perfect tires for that bike, My Mooney, also fixed gets 28c Vittoria G+ tubulars and my custom fixed the same in 25c. (I've swapped all my good bikes to tubulars because I've had a clincher blow and come off for a crash I never want to do again. Plus really good tubulars are magic carpets.)

p.s. - temporarily tried Conti Gatorskins, and felt like riding in mud, the resistance was so much higher. Right back to GP 5k’s.

28mm blackwall Paselas on the Mercian and Gitane fixed-gears
35mm Continental Cyclocross Speeds from a few years back on the Raleigh Competition with the Dingle/White Industries Dos Eno fixed/free drivetrain

FWIW, the gearies have a funky mix of whatever was available -
27 x 1 1/4-in blackwall Paselas on the '76 Puch Royal X
20-year-old Continental Sport 1000 28mm on the '82 Mercian Colorado
Continental 23mm Gatorskins on the '88 Specialized Sirrus (because it won't accept anything appreciably bigger!)
25mm IRC something-or-other, bought used at the LBS, on the '88 Centurion LeMans
32mm tanwall Paselas on the Cannondale, destined for the Lighthouse
