I don't have this anymore (does it still count), but it turned out really nicely. This came to me as a frame from a second-hand bike shop in Vancouver in the 90's and I had it unbuilt until it became time to make space. It was an instant smile the first time I got on it.

Last year I stated that this bike would show up this year. Here it is as it sits now. It is ridable and is a good ride at that.

The folder will not be repeated, you can go back a year to see it.

I rode this behemoth on the 90-mile Lake Pepin 3-speed Tour back in 2016. It was fully laden with packed panniers and a large saddlebag. I checked it on the cargo scale at work: 62 lbs!

My Soma Smoothie, bought frame and fork new in 2019 and built it with 105 7000 groupset, Zonda wheels, and a mix of other components. They are appropriately named, smooth long ride comfortable, well balanced and handles terrific.

The single speed is from Milwaukee Bicycle Company and tires are Grand Bois Cypres.

I think I've only ever posted in one of these threads, and I have no idea what bike it was... Doubt it was this new yet classic Creme Caferacer Uno, though, so I'll add it to the lot!
It's not a bad bike at all, really, but I have some nitpicks and really do just love old bikes for the stories they can tell. I will pass it onto another steward after I get through a rather intensive restoration of a mid-century Raleigh Popular roadster.

done with the Brian preference of the signature on the drive side.
I owned a Black Carlsbad GC ordered special in 9/76. Sold off to pay for school, paid a whole year of tuition back before tuition skyrocketed.
Brian painted an early Milano GC for me now a long time ago.

This JP Weigle was built for a sea captain in '81, was moored here for a little while but recently found a new berth in California.

And the weird 1x '74 Harry Quinn, which has seen a bunch of different builds and is an unphotographed Campy/S-A S3X build at the moment, will hang out for a while longer. Likely ditch the S3X for Campy 1x5 build?

Its an Airolg (Gloria Milano) dingle speed with a condorino handlebar, the bike flyes.
Need to find a better looking crankset...
