carbon/aluminum composite bikes with 1 inch steerer

Hi all,

Follow up to one my other threads, are there any examples of composite aluminum bikes (if that's the right terminology), aluminum frames with carbon rear triangles that had 1 inch carbon forks?

My goal is to find a 9 speed group and a 1inch threadless carbon fork for a project, I was hoping to be able to find everything off of 1 bike.

Appreciate any advice or alternate pathways to my goal!

Im also thinking the same thing. Picked up a Trek 2100 and thinking of upgrading here and there. Its the original 7 speed and the Brifters are not working. thinking of making a Hybrid out of it with a MTB flat bar

I don't trust used carbon frame/fork...
Probably the least expensive, new 1" carbon fork you can find.

Check into some of the Lemond bikes. I have a 1 inch carbon fork from them, but I'm not sure what model it came from.
