Dahon Launch D8 - Crankset Upgrade

Hi,

I recently took up cycling as a hobby for liesure. I bought a Dahon launch D8 and want to upgrade my crankset from stocks. I知 a newbie so I知 not sure what to buy. I知 thinkin of litepro hollowtech but I don稚 know what size should I buy. I would like to ask for your advise and suggestions.

We need more information about why you are doing this. For looks, to save weight, to change gearing, your height, your legs inseam, you want to spend money, what you hope to gain, and so on? Roger

I would get one with 170mm crank arms. Longer than that gives you more leverage but at the expense of having a bigger pedaling-circle. Shorter is the opposite (gives you a smaller pedaling-circle but at the expense of having a stiffer stroke).

thanks for the reply.
I want to make my bike lighter and also change the stock parts as some of it like the pedal i think is rusting.
