North Country, NY
I'm going to be heading to the North Country next month (Oct.) and thinking of taking my bike. Does anyone know, is Route 11 from Potsdam toward Malone safe to bike? Thanks in advance.

It does seem to have a shoulder. But Potsdam in October? Gets iffy up there really early. My daughter went to SUNY Potsdam and hated the weather but made the most out of the small town.
