17 miles. Was able to diagnosis a consistent clicking. The right pedal was loose. Tightened it up and it ran like new.

a) I'm not a biker but I've been riding lately for 3-4 days a week.
b) I'm not a gravel guy but there is the opportunity to ride some beautiful paths like the one you show here in AZ....Makes me think it's worth a try!

Nicely done BTW...that's not easy!

If a bunch of very short rides counts as a ride, … well I’ve been having fun since pumping them all up over this past weekend.

Two angles to picture the vintage roadie rides.

Favorite? I like to say Merckx with a strong Belgium accent.
Favorite to ride? The one with supple tires.

Ah yes...the old "favorite to have, look at, fool around with etc. and the favorite to ride"...well said!

Enviable collection for sure and I'm very happy to see you using all of them!

Just for clarity the only “…fool around with, etc….” would be the wrenching needed to keep ‘em safe on the road. No names, no fanciful attachments - other than a nice ride, every time. Roll On.

On

the

road

again

like a band of gypsies we go down the highways, (and the byways).

17 miles on a sunny 50 F but kinda chilly breeze. We had snow and cold 36 hrs. before got lucky it's mostly melted but several little patches of snow and ice on access sidewalks and urban trails

Only 9.3 miles but a nice ride in the snow. Below freezing 🥶 so it was crispy. Good traction. Not a fast ride but enjoyable. The 2.25 rear and 2.4 front tires at 20 psi helped.

Tuesday our weather is going down the tubes! 20 F with wind and -3 F temps that night into Wednesday. Even though the breeze was quite chilly today we bundled up a little and headed out for a 17 mile ride all over with a stop for a cup of hot tea at The Good Neighbors Meeting House and our rice cake snack! 👍 Then headed to the apartment.

A view of Pikes Peak from the T-gap trail in Colorado Springs!

ha! reminds me of the only time I attempted 100 miles on a paved bike trail. I figured if I rode it up & back on 1 bike, then took a nap & switched bikes for another up & back, I would be good to go. everything went great until some time later, when I doubled checked the distance of the trail. I had only ridden 88 miles! agh! (each leg of the trail was 22 miles not 25, duh) (this was before I got a bike computer). didn't really need to change bikes & nap like I did, but I was nervous!

Still cold but the mountain bike trails are too muddy from the rain so I bundled up and did a road ride. And windy. Road 21 miles on the Domane. Been a month. Realized how much I missed it. At leas the roads were dry.

Dry, low 40*s, no sun. A smooth roll on a damp but paved trail with no curves or twists. And no cars! 24 miles of mindless pleasure.
1989 English Falcon, 531c tubes, racy geometry. 23mm front/25mm rear tubulars to accentuate the quick but stable handling. Roll on!

Colors make me happy

This photo greatly brightened for image clarity. Nice house and meadow …. across the river.

204km, 1700m yesterday. Capping off the week with about 50km today so 650km or so.

For the longer rides I prefer my 6kg Wilier; awesome bike.
