Attacking the Great Allegheny Passage Trail from Confluence PA

This past weekend a group of 13 cyclists of various levels biked many segments of the GAP trail, went rafting (and swimming) in/on the Youghiogheny River and ate a lot.

CycleBlaze Journal here.

Enjoyed the GAP photo journal especially the tandem pic taken from the front porch of the Riverview Kitchenettes. I have that exact same view of the old iron bridge taken from the exact same vantagepoint . Did you happen to eat at the Lucky Dog in Confluence?

We did the group thing at Confluence 2 years in a row and I know at least once people brought food back from the Lucky Dog - pizza and maybe some desserts?

Confluence is a great town to base operations in for the piecemeal GAP riding and all the other things there are to do out there.
