Propstand mount??
Isn't the hole really for the FD cable routing coming from the bottom of the BB?
At least that's what that same hole is for on my Vitus Carbone.

I have heard of building a bike based on a treasured component, even finding the bike for a cool headbadge. But never heard about building a bike around a single lug.

Is it really a Rossin Ghiblets if you build it yourself? At one time I could order everything I needed to build a Model A or Mustang from JC Whitney but I doubt the DMV would have called it a Ford

The extent of its existence will be "Rossin Ghibli Bottom Bracket Shell Art"

Since both BB shells and cars were mentioned. I plan (if I ever get the time) to turn a BB shell into a shifter knob (kinda like a Hurst T-handle) for my Volvo.

That's a cool idea. The best I can come up with is a pen holder at the moment.
