Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Really close to Sixx AM - Life is Beautiful:

On a somewhat-related note, I'll shortly be looking at a house that's being sold because the previous owner passed away. Also, house shopping sucks.

And the site seems to work on Chrome again for me, so I'll probably be hanging out here more again.

Who knows, maybe during her incarceration the thug life rubbed off on her.

It could happen.

What kind of problems had you been having? Some of the clickables weren't clickable for me and trying to click them actually de-selected the browser window. Weird.

The tab was locking up the entire browser. Worked in FF, worked in IE, miserable pile of crap in Chrome after one of the early changes to the look of the update. It was probably a JS thing, but the fact that it worked in the other browsers was weird.

No centuries in my cycling past. Did 94 once. I don't foresee a century in my future right now since I really don't enjoy being on the bike that long.

Centuries are for people who don't have anything better to do with their time than ride their bikes 100 miles. I used to be one of those people. In 2001 I rode 5 centuries over 3 weekends and once did about 150 miles on a fully-loaded touring bike. Cannot remember the last century I rode.

And then we have the other side of the coin, where anything more than 10 minutes on the bike is a waste of time.

I honestly can't see how that could be less entertaining than yet another show on remodeling houses or another survivor style reality show. I would watch it just for Snoop's entertainment value.

New post and stem installed on the Haanjo. Now to give it a few more rides and see if I need to replace the saddle or not... Also need to see if the color on the Toupe Pro is the same kind of not-quite-red as the accents on the Haanjo. I hope that it's not the same, otherwise the new saddle is going to cost me $200 instead of $100.

I see your point, but this seems like a classic "just because I can, should I" type of situation.

And I think the answer is no.
