Solves my cold feet problem, I hope. Not for super cold, but neither am I. Just arrived after nearly a month on back order. The covering should keep out wet and the nasty road silt. Hopefully more miles in Winter. Not skiing this year.

The reviews were pretty good. (aren't they always). Ordered 1/2 size larger than my regular shoes, Sidi Air(?). Zipper tight over top of foot, so i wouldn't want it any smaller.

The front caliper that matches this one.(it came in the day before) It's the closest I could get to the root beer anodized ones that were original to the frame.

I've been using Kelly's Cork Renew. Seems to work pretty well (so far). Is your stuff significantly different from that?

@smontanaro - Don't know yet. I have since learned that the real stuff was called Latex Emulsion. Don't know if my stuff is any different. The bottle says it can be used as an adhesive.
I am waiting for a sewing awl to sew up a tire that is the first in 30+ years!

I feel so lucky that I have carriage roads and trails I can ride on while astride an all-road bike. I need to explore them further, because I know a tiny fraction of the many near me.

Aluminum fenders for a Motobecane Grand Touring that made its way to me for a song and a steel fenders for a Miyata cyclocross > townie project. Tektro 720s for the Miyata are in there as well...

Nice haul from the UK for me today! Forty more issues of Cycling and The Bicycle all from around 1950, a rare Bluemels spearpoint time trial fender, and a pair of Harden alloy track hubs!

I got these today from a different source: https://gccycles.com/

They seem to have a vintage vibe and decent pricing.
Best, Ben

Good luck! They seem like a fun hub from a technical point of view though they tended to self-destruct according to Sheldon Brown.

I wasn't entirely happy with the fit of the Little Big Ben 40-622 tyres. They required me to deflate the rear tyre to remove the wheel and were fiddly to set up.
However, there don't seem to be any cream options in the 32-622 size, but there is the whitewall Schwalbe Road Cruiser.
One order and a couple of minutes later, and we have this:

Cream Schwalbe Little Big Ben tyres vs. Schwalbe Road Cruiser whitewalls.

Not a bad look I think and a lot easier to set up. Though the all-cream tyres looked a little lighter somehow.
It even seems like I will need to lower the fenders again.

I'd given up hope of completing either of my Campy brake pad holder sets. A steel Record pair needed a matching second pair to make a set, while a spare pair of alloy holders is mismatched and couldn't even serve as a stand-in. A couple of days ago I lucked into a pair of steel Records with used (up) Mathauser inserts for an inexpensive BIN. They got here today. Very clean with superb hardware; here they are with newly-installed pads:

I installed a set of pads into the old holders and now have a clean set:

Finis. Now that I've finally completed a set, I'll let the mismatched ones go separately on the evil auction site. Finally! I didn't think this day would ever come

Here are a few parts I've received for an upcoming build. They're not perfect, but neither is the bike. They'll be closer to it when I'm done.
