Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Texas used auto prices ease as scratch-and-dent supply added to the market.

Test cabinet carcass thrown together yesterday, everything went fairly smoothly. Need to mill some face frame material. I was planning on doing the face frame in easy mode with pocket screws, but (because of the aesthetic that my wife wants), I'm not sure that I'll be able to go that route without making it more trouble than it's worth, though an alignment jig might do the trick. I'll prolly give it a go once with pocket screws and once with mortise and tenon and see which is less of a pain in the ass.

Speaking of pains in the ass, test hinges are on the way for installation later - I'm trying out two different brands. I went cross-eyed making sense of these euro hinges, with cabinet type, door fitment, hinge and plate compatibility, inventory availability and pricing disparity (many customer-facing online shops charge $15+ each whereas wholesalers with less friendly sites may charge $5 each). I think that I've got it all sorted out, now, but we'll see how that works in practice.

Awesome mountains and national parks to the east. Might be too much snow to drive up, though. In the city? I don't know.

I wasn't going to say anything because I wasn't riding the bike, but I'd give my left.. to get an increase like that.

Based on the HR numbers that went along with the ride, it all makes sense

So based on how my legs feel today, seems legit

Good news.
Jan. 18 (UPI) -- All-Pro safety Budda Baker, who was involved in a violent collision in the Arizona Cardinals' wild-card playoff loss to the Los Angeles Rams and taken to a hospital, is "doing good," he tweeted Tuesday morning.

Mine is around 2.7 (235W) right now. Last summer, it was just over 3.0 (250W). A big factor in that is the additional 10lbs on my ass.

He's not going to last, he's too small to try to be a tough guy in the NFL . . . which as we know stands for Not For Long.

Football is not the sport for small guys to try to overachieve. Baseball is more appropriate, plus they have a smaller strike zone.
