Has Torelli Quietly Gone Out of Business?

Hello folks,

I noticed that the Torelli website isn't working, and that there have been no posts made on their Facebook page since late in 2021. Does anyone know if they're still in business or what? I can't find any relevant news via my brief morning internet search...

What do you mean, the website's not working? Torelli

Have you tried contacting them? (818) 530-6259, info@torelli.com

It didn't work for me on my desktop this morning but that link works now! I'm glad it does. No, I didn't bother to contact them yet because there is no pressing matter - typically asking such questions around here generates a response from some informed member of the community and that seems ideal to calling/emailing them and asking then having to say "oh, I was just curious."

Hey--their dealer page is blank, so you never know. I'd just email them, personally.

But man--the prices! You might have to spend $3,000 or over for a lugged steel frame!

Yes, indeed, and that's what keeps the art alive! However, now that I can see the website and the frame prices and options, I know that I would rather lean towards a number of other options on the market... A Tommasini Sintesi, Cinelli Supercorsa, or Mercian Vincitore are three excellent modern steel frames with rich heritage that I have my eyes on. I had thought to consider Torelli again because I used to wander into one of the dealer's shops and see the frames and long for them when I was younger, but the prices don't seem so competitive any more.

Oh, no...I get it! The options available on that "Spettro" are just amazing. You will truly have a one-of-a-kind piece of ridable art. If only I had that kind of dough! I hope just for the artistry that they're still in business.

But I do recommend the Cinelli Supercoarsa.

I seem to remember that the guy behind Torelli changed his name for one reason or another.
