Colnago Mexico?
Hello everyone. I I'm not a big fan of Colnago, but my cycling buddy Bob has become obsessed with this bike. Could any of you colnago experts please just let me know if it's it's kosher and worth somewhere in the region of that money?
Thanks in advance

It looks like a pretty nice bike but , to me , not top of the line components that I usually see on one of these. I am not up to speed on value , although the price seems to reflect the condition, so maybe someone who knows these bikes will offer a better assessment. I have a 1975 Super which is a different bike , and I love mine. I have more in mine than what they are asking for that bike but mine has the components one would expect on a 1975 Colnago Super. Also I liked mine so much , I had a really nice restoration done on the paint and that really took it to a new level. They really are nice bikes and $1224 US doesn’t seem out of line for a Mexico.

It's a Nuovo Mexico, not a Mexico.
It's a nice enough ride but not worth that kind of money.
Fork may not be original to the frame and it's built up with stuff from the spare parts bin.

The shift levers are installed on the wrong side and inside out.

Good eye chroMo Mike !!!! !!
They must have put the shifters on in a hurry !!!
As above have stated. Parts are not original to the bike. Decals do not look right either, but I am no expert.

Wrong decals. This frame is a '83 later due to the flat seat stay caps. The decals should be the "Panel" like set.
Not to mention the horrible cable housing length on the RD!
