@3speedslow. Thanks. Your schwinn monies arrived yesterday
@hazetguy
Its coming along nicely but lets slow down a bit. A few more needed parts and itll hit the road.
Im dreading looking for dura ace hoods for my brake levers though.
I slapped the concor on after the turbo and it looked way better.

Indexed 6/7 speed Superbe Pro goodness.
Added bonus is that they're on a nice Suntour DT band, which is already earmarked to replace a lesser unit on one of my bikes.
The shifters are for the RB1 project.

A pair of Continental CrossAttack tubulars. I got these on eBay for 6’ (shipping was not quite $8). Who said you can't find the occasional deal? The one mounted didn't hold air, but a little Orange Seal solved that problem. These will go on my Schwinn Super Sport for riding trails. (Does that make it a gravel bike?)

Dynamo lights from China. 12.99 free shipping. These actually work well. 40 lux and a well directed beam. Perfect for slow commuters like me.

I refused to pay $70 shipping so I had to drive 45 up the road to Sears to get it. After some 25 or 28 years I finally realized I need a bigger tool box. I really wanted another 4 drawer craftsman but I guess they just don't make those anymore so I got a three drawer. To be honest there is a lot of stuff in that small top box that isn't tools but I'll get that all sorted out eventually.
Celeste drawer loner!!
Just a cheap wrench hanging organizer from Anaconda
I think I bought the tool box in '88 9or '89, the four drawer chest I guess came along in '94ish?

Somas, and tubes came today! Ive been keeping the postal services pretty busy lately with both incoming, and outgoing C&V mail. Some of the incoming is directly from the forums such as the beautiful Brooks, the barcons, Cyclone RD, and Stronglight 99. All of which I owe many thanks to Mr. N Learner.
Mavic MA laced to a fresh 105, as well as the matching rear hub are both eBay scores from last week. Deer Head cantis mail ordered out of town Craigslist purchases.
Now Im waiting on a Nitto Campee lowrider rear, and an Ostrich handlebar bag...
The shopping list for the Trek 520 has been becoming much, much shorter lately, and it wont be long for assembling begins!

worked great in a snowstorm. Lit up individual snow flakes beautifully. The standlights are almost non existant. All in all though they work plenty good enough for me. The front has a better beam than my axa 30s. The rear standlight sucks but the standlights on the spanningas i own usually die within a year and i keep using them anyway.

Things are starting to heat up around here! Im waiting until all the essential components, and accessories are procured, AND THEN, its build time! Almost there...
Feels like my mailbox was blessed with with good things this morning. The Campee rear rack, and the Ostrich F106, both found on regional Craigslist.
Took advantage of Black Friday, and a Campee front is making its way here from Bens Cycles already!
Just a few more items to go!

Just got the leather look bar tape I ordered from E bay. I couldn't pass up the $5 price even though it shipped from Thailand via camel caravan .
It was supposed to take 6 weeks and was 2 weeks late after that. When I finally ran out of patience waiting I tried to contact the seller through e bay only to be told they couldn't respond due to technical difficulties.
Just as I finally gave up and resigned myself to never getting what I ordered it finally came in the mail.

I got an Ebay find today, Legnano branded Campy rear hub to match my dirty old front hub. Right now I have a mismatched set of Campy hubs that run free and true, but they are just not like the original. It's been a long, but low priority search. Finally found one at an affordable price. Let the wheel building begin, after I get the front polished, and serviced. I'm looking for suitable 36 hole clincher rims if anybody has some for sale. Prefer NOS, suitable for a '64 Legnano Roma. Cheers!
