Addiction 2021.3

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

We got a new kid in on the mound. He's gotten 6 runs against him in 23 pitches so far for his first major league game.

Mariners win! After being down 7-0.

4 hour game, so I'm up past my bedtime.

This is Foster. Named as such since she was grudgingly taken in by my mom about 8 years ago when it was abandoned on the property. My mom feeds her and keeps it warm in the garage. My brother built an apartment for her in the winter months. Heat lamp for warmth. It stays outside most of the year. She can tell I'm a dog guy.

I know that's what makes it dumb. But also if I wanted to watch pro's, I could watch NBA or NHL. It just turns into same old thing....

Looked up a guy who showed up for this morning's group ride and it turns out he played 11 seasons in the NFL. Very nice man, but could not hang on the hills.

If he played football he is probably too fat for this sport.
