Yes, the BG is a bit of a bone shaker in many places. The SRT is a much smoother surface.

I stopped riding around the N end of the lake because the roots are so bad on the BG. I’d rather face the traffic doing the south end route than deal with miles of bumps. Used to commute from Lake City to Kirkland daily using the BG but it was much better before 2000

Did my other standard loop relatively early and was home by just around 9:30 so I could beat the heat (it was 81F at 10am) be showered and shaved for the opera this afternoon.

The second standard loop, Golden Gardens. 15 or so and 700 feet or so..

58.8 miles, with only one big climb. was really low mojo, not totally sure why… maybe travel and a strenuous beach outing yesterday???

30 miles/2,000 feet in a charity ride, the Tour of Litchfield Hills. I usually do the 50 mile route but not up to it today. Temperature near 90 and I'm only 5 weeks from having foot surgery (plate and 5 screws).

35-spot in orange county area of socal. a little, yearly pilgrimage to the 1984 olympic road race course (9.85 miles/500+ feet el gain...
