Classic Schwinn
Hi everyone. I'm new here. I recently bought a Beach Cruiser ebike, but I have a classic Schwinn cruiser that I need to do something with. It's probably 50? years old. Great shape. Is there any value in it? Anyone know?
Thanks in advance!

Put it on your local Craigs List for $50 and see what happens. Also put some good pics of it in your gallery - you already have a pic of your e bikes in there. We have an evaluation sub forum for this and this request of yours will most likely be moved there. Welcome to Bike Forums!

The old Schwinn middleweights and balloon tired bikes were and still are great. They have a following.
@MBailey23 does yours look like this? This one only has a few original parts on it.

50 years old? So it’s from the ‘70s or maybe even one of the very late ‘80s or early ‘90s ikwhen Schwinn tried to revive the cruisers. They aren’t quite as sought after as the 1950 bikes which are more like 70 years old.

Bikes: A Blue One and 2 Green One's, then there's the Yellow one. And oh, yeah, a Black One. Did I mention the Red One?

Cruisers are 79-85. Would need a pic and serial number. Their forks and equipment changes a little.
In good shape they can sell for 350-600 depending. An early cruiser 5 could get 800.
Gotta know where the audience is tho.

That is a later Cruiser with the tubular fork.
Get on the CABE and put it up in the bikes for sale thread. You ought to be able to get 250-350 I would think.
Hard to tell without closeups of the condition, The decals say mid to late eighties
The serial number is on the Bottom of the head, usually on the right side.
You will need to provide that. The first two Letters are the month and year of production.
Good Luck.

I like the chainring, even if it is on a 1 piece crankset.
