Size appears to be 12"? That's a kid size bike.

At 6ft, you should be looking at 20-22" bikes

With a functional fork, or an appropriate hardnose blade fork $175-225. The people that engineered those are the same that did the original Schwinn Homegrown. They very nice, I had the A2B a step down in components same frame different colors. Does the A2E have the teardrop shaped Tree Amigo tubing?

In all honesty, I was looking at it as a potential parts bike. For $30 I think I'll grab it if it's still available on my day off.
I think I can use the crankset on my newly acquired fixie.

Sold a similar on for $75 about 10 years ago. I believe the forks are an elastomer type.

My guess would be 1994, the first year STX was released. BikePedia seems to back me up since it lists the SR DuoTrack 9001 fork as OEM. Frame's the teeny-tiniest 12" size. Buy hey- parts is parts...

Wow -- value of that complete bike could be worthless --- or priceless

Depending on whether you have some kids or a small statured GF or spouse who could use it

-but its worth $30 -- I'd almost buy that for a project just to refurbish and donate to someone who could fit it !

This is how it is done! Congratulations!

Did something every similar to refresh my 1988 Cimarron. Picked up a top of the line Shogun MTB, circa 1990 for $65. Parts went onto my Cimarron. Then sold the Shogun frame, fork, headset, seat post and stem for $150 on that dreaded auction site.

I pick bikes for cheap or frees a lot of the time for parts usually end up fixing them up with lesser bin parts and donating them and keeping the nicer parts. Figure a good set of basic tires is worth $40-50 right know so this would be a great buy at $30.
