After an almost event-less 2020 due to Covid-19, 2021 was much better, especially the second half of the year. Let's hope for a full calendar again in 2022.

This first post is reserved for the list of events, and the dates they're planned (or expected, as long as dates have not been finalized).

As dates become available I'll update this post. Dates in bold have been officially announced.

If you have anything you'd like to add or correct, please chime in, and I'll update the calendar. Please, always assume this list is not up-to-date and check the actual dates before booking flights and hotels and telling your faraway aunt you'll be coming over.


Since a lot of events were rescheduled to the fall in 2021, I have taken the 2020 calendar as the baseline for this list with regard to their expected dates. I have put most events back in what I believe to be their usual time slots.

Added the Tour de Rance, on 4 & 5 June, in Calorguen, France (thanks, Fabio!).

Calorguen is in Brittany, near St Malo. Cider, crêpes, andouilles, calvados, oysters. And the cycling is good too, I've been told.

Yep, a pity. The idea here is participating the Tour de Rance a month earlier. And maybe in the end of october the Alan 50th Anniversary Day in Cervia/Ravenna. I heard DeRonde in Oudenaarde this year will not be organised.

Eroica Valkenburg postponed to 2023
This year the Eroica Valkenburg cycling festival will not take place.
Because of organisational issues the unique cycling event is postponed to next year.
Eroica Valkenburg is since 2016 a renown event in Zuid-Limburg. Hundreds of cyclists ride in vintage clothing on their old bikes through the beautiful landscape of Limburg.
Last year former Tour de France winner Joop Zoetemelk was honoured with the TI-Raleigh reunion. The organisation is planning the 6th edition of Eroica Valkenburg in the summer of 2023.
