Can't help ya.
Click the buy button, and justify it as not being hookers and blow.

Be careful with the Jersey sizing. I purchased an Eroica Hispania jersey years ago and Euro vs. US sizing is different. I wear an XL in US jerseys and for the Santini it had to be an XXL in club cut. In race cut I have to get a XXXL.

Uhm…..you don’t need any of this bike junk, it is overpriced and will probably fall apart. Bicycle stuff is just a waste of hard earned $. You probably already have too much of this kind of fodder. There is a reason most folks don’t go for the vintage junk. Cleaning those spokes will be a real P.I.A. Those vintage jersey’s are itchy and totally uncomfortable………..How am I doing?

I think you're in the wrong forum. You need to go find a "SWMBOs whose significant others are obsessed with ridiculous hobbies" forum.

Nope, i'm in the right forum, expect no less from any of the responses so far. Thanks for you support.
I may be posting photos of the XXV anniversary tubulars here soon. Need suggestions for the personalized 4 characters on the side wall.

Given that there are tubulars out there far better suited for the abuse of L'Eroica for half the cost, I dare say at least one of these 104 limited edition sets should be purchased with "LOL$" stamped on the side, never used, and hung up in a museum to commemorate the brilliance that is the marketing and brand licensing behind the L'Eroica events.

240 euros for tubulars that are not even made of silk? Madness! What kind of crazy person would buy these?

Those are nice, and would make a unique statement.
So many of them have those tiny zippers though - like the come down just below your Adam's apple... I can barely fit my big head through those things.
I welcome the long-zipper revolution - either all the way, or at least belly-button length.

they sell full zippered 'jackets', and every order is 'custom', so a long zipper should certainly be possible.

but I have only exchanged 2 emails (over a year ago), where they said "Yes, we could do that" to a request, never ordered.

I was never sure if the wool was lightweight like www.woolistic.com jerseys or heavier like www.oregoncyclewear.com

Just to derail this thread, the chain stitching shown on the Woolistic website is super crisp - makes me wonder if there is a CNC embroidery machine that is capable of doing it. Personally though, I like the imperfections of traditional 'hand made' chain stitch using a Cornely (or similar) sewing machine.

Personalized tubulars? Everyone had them in the 70s. And we didn’t need a Sharpie. After the tire was mounted, you’d get out the Bic ballpoint and write your name on the sidewall near the valve. Kept them from getting mixed up with team mate’s wheels when traveling to races and gave you a better chance of getting your wheels back if you were lucky enough to go to a race that had a wheel van. And in the US anybody who was selected to go to an international event always wrote USA after their name. Even after the event, those letters were a long lasting bit of subtle intimidation on the starting line.

I know the good folks at Spectrum Embroidery here in Oregon. They do the embroidery for Oregon Cycle Wear. I've been there a few times, all of the embroidery is CNC. You can send them artwork and they can convert it into CNC readable embroidery machines. It was surprisingly inexpensive, and high quality.
