I came across this grafic recently showing the locations of close passing harassment. I've no certainty how valid it may be as areas of greater population density will show a higher occurrence of such incidents. When I zoom in on my local riding area in and around Bristol/Providence, Rhode Island to about 40 miles in any direction, there is a large region of minimal incidents but 60 miles north in the Boston area, there are many incidents. So far this follows local perceptions that Boston motorists have a 'certain' reputation.

I think it's a good database. If you make your local cops aware of it, they will likely use it to check if a motorist has a previous history of aggressive driving.

Yeah, I logged into the site and saw that there were a few reported incidents within the last year but I don't recall a notification. I wondered if it was going to a different email account so I attempted to check my profile. It seems that I can only edit my name, city, state, and country so it was not possible to verify/change the email address. I used their contact us page to ask about the email thing, but have not had a reply yet.

I think the site/db is managed by a single individual who is generously willing to cut into his riding time to offer the service to us.
