"custom" road bike... seems interesting?

I saw this on FB. Any thoughts on the frame or other components? Seems to have Mavic wheels. I know the shifters are odd for a road bike, tho I'd think about converting to flat bar anyway. Thanks!

Seems like someone tried to build a Ferrari one a Vega chassis. The seat and some of the parts might be worth $150+/-

Anyway, I've spotted a 1992 Trek 970 that looks interesting......
