Raleigh USA
Found a gallery stashed on my HD with images from one of the Raleigh Team USA bikes I used to have. I got two of them in a local buy but unfortunately one was too large and the other two small. So after cleaning them up I moved them on to new owners. I'd still like to find one in my size just for how cool they look. Anyway, posting the images here before they get lost on my computer again.

The crankset (which I think is an SR) look like an almost literal copy of the Ofmega Mistral crankset. It's amazing how they got away with copying the Ofmega......but there it is.......
Frankly, though, the Mistral actually became more popular, years after they ceased producing it, as some found it a bit too "jazzy" looking for the times when it was introduced. More were interested in the more austere area designs back then, like the Edco Competition and the then emerging C Record and even the aesthetically controversial, Mavic Starfish.

The frames were the real jewel in the mix. Still curse the 84 yr with the Shimano proprietary shift braze on.
Thanks for including these pics for future resources.

So true, I actually prefer the paint scheme on the ones I posted. That's the appeal for me to be honest.
