hmmm, from all pics I've seen these bars are correctly positioned. Probably would look even goofier with handles down. I did pick up another at coop.

You are correct. Imron is a wet epoxy thermoset paint. Similar to Powdercoat which is a thermoset that is applied dry.

These brakes do not have quick release. How does one remove the wheel without deflating it first? I would be transporting the bike in my hatchback, but with the front wheel it would be a lot more difficult.

The quick release for these brakes was on the front levers oem which have been changed so you have a couple options add a secondary quick release to the cabling, deflate the tire or losen remove a brake pad.

I think the route is to replace front brakes with quick release.
Or, borrow from another bike that had two.

Really enjoyed the bike this winter with a trainer, but posted it for sale and today it was sold.
