LiteSpeed: AL or TI?
I was thinking about buying a Litespeed frame off eBay. It has been painted by the owner at some point, which I would strip off.
The decals indicate that it's TI but that does not mean much...can anyone confirm it is TI by looking at the pictures?

Did Litespeed ever make AL frames?
The pictures show TI (there are unpainted parts).

I went ahead and bought it.
I swear on all that is holy this is the last bike I will buy / build...no more room in the garage.

It just might be. After I bought and built my Ultimate last year, I no longer find myself lusting after bikes or frames on Ebay, Craigslist, or FB Marketplace.

Guilty. My first is painted back to 4 or so inches behind the seattube. Reason? I always wanted a red bike. Custom big money bike was simply going to be red. Plus a steel fork that wants paint. No regrets at all. And it's not just another boring grey bike.

how are you liking it? i got mine in April of this year. i like it a lot. still getting used to the Di2 though. and the more aggressive geometry placed the bottle holder is a slightly diff position on DT and i keep missing the bottle at stop lights. its a great ride really when compared to my AL frame.

I didn't go for Di2 - the mechanical/rim brake version of R8000 is expensive enough! - so it didn't take much getting used to. But it shifts better than any of my other bikes except the 7800 STIs and RD on the Ritchey, which it just matches. Somehow, I managed to get the fit so right that it is the most comfortable bike I have. It's not the lightest, but it's just behind the two CF bikes. Because the frame is from 1995, the DT bottle cage mounts are lower than I'd like. I'm guessing that they put them low so you wouldn't bump DT shifters, which were still around back then. But I have long arms, so I can reach it.
