Externally I pretend it didn’t happen and continue to address him/her as Dr. YouHaveSoMuchToLearn
Wish I could say I took them out of contention for this but I can’t these days. They’re still in the running, plenty of time to work on manners if I take the pup on.
Ah, me too. I’m not going to pass on a little hotshot because of a perky email. Once they’re performing well, I’m okay with first names too.
