I’ve been using one during tours for years. The inner wall of my current one cracked. It’s happened before. I think because I sometimes make the water too hot.
If ours broke, I would get a double-walled steel one, but I have already epoxied the handle and now it will last until I drop it overboard while dumping grounds on a morning when I don’t feel like diving in after it.
