Just an FYI, but the Passage was around way past 1987 as well. It went all the way out to 1999 I believe. I think in the early 90's the Voyageur was discontinued and the Passage was the only touring option available from Schwinn.

That`s some weird , wild stuff. I did not know that.
I thought The Passage morphed into a less of a touring bike later in it`s life.
