Trsnrtr - I signed up for an availability notification from the US distributor of the Niche Zero; they're currently expected some time in Oct. I'm telling myself that this will give me time to feel out a work flow with a scale (I've just been working by volume and feel) and see if I'm content to stick with the Mazzer, but this could be the start of trouble.
I'm thinking of buying a different grinder but can't decide what to buy. Same with a scale. Mine only goes to the even gram and to be honest, I can't tell any difference between 17 or 18 no matter what the fancy schmancy coffee gurus say.

Thats definitely the goal. Also helps that it’s not my throwing arm.

And yeah, a scale - I need to pick one up, but I've been hoping to find one locally that'll have a narrow range (3kg or less), resolution to the tenth of a gram (though, as you say, it may be of questionable benefit) and preferably a built in timer. One thing that I'm noticing is that there aren't many decent ones in the <$50 region and they instead jump to $100+ with deep dives in to stupid (IMO) connected smart phone features like plotting out and cataloging flow rates and stuff.

I enjoy obtaining new equipment of any kind. I replaced my last helmet with two helmets. One was "fun" because of color choices. The other was "fun" because it had new technology.

Checking in;
Billy and Mo, feel better soon!
Bampilot, wife wanted a popcorn ceiling painted. 13 X 20 room. Took over 5 gallons using a roller on extension. I never want to see paint again.
Running into stuff: 1956, five years old. First bike. A neighbor was under his car parked in the street, working on something. I managed to ride over his stomach without crashing. He banged his head on the car and never talked to me again.

I'm with Mo' on this one - some of the more expensive helmets seem pretty cool, but when push comes to shove, I have a hard time springing for one. In my case, Specialized is my head's manufacturer of choice, and while the Evade and Prevail look and sound great in theory, it's hard for me to justify ~twice the price of a perfectly fine Propero.
