Reminds me, the other day on "Advisory Opinions" I heard David French use the perfect historical description for Texas, which it will henceforth be know as: Tennessee's colony.

Time to start thinking about forward compatibility with 12s drivetrains? Anyone think the fact that the Kickr comes with a cassette is a negative, not a positive -- you are paying for it, but maybe or maybe not works with the length of chain you have for the cassette you have on your regular bike(s)?

God help me, I like that podcast and have learned an extraordinary amount from it. I am also a big Ken White fan. At this rate, I might go to my grave as a moderate conservative.

Let me see - we had 5 C&V bikes (one modern, but we're inclusive). One British (Bob Jackson), one French (Stella), one American (Trek), and two Japanese (Centurion and Lotus). Maybe Team Cinzano will show up at the next one in October?

After two postponements, we were finally able to hold the SF Peninsula C&V ride today! We ended up with 6 riders. There are some pics on a thread over in C&V. I'm the guy i the white NorCal jersey, in case you're interested.
I discovered I'm not really Ride Leader material. I kept getting way ahead of the bunch. Tailgunner works better for me, I think.

but you'll have a much better idea of what's going on in court cases than if you merely watch TV news,
Not in the actual north.

We're getting a break from it here, finally.
I went out and played in the mountains. Set a few climbing PRs which felt nice.
I also set a few descending PRs, which is always fun
Also got my first road flat in years about 3 miles from the end of my route. Just a pinhole so I emptied a CO2 in to it and thankfully I was able to make it back to my vehicle.

Sometimes when I ride my Gunnar people think it's a C&V type bike. Yesterday we passed a lady on a steel bike without graphics but it had downtube shifters. We exchanged pleasantries and she said it was nice to see another old bike out there. I told her it was from 2006. Oops, hers was from 1989. I told her mine just looks old.
A couple months ago a guy said it was cool to see an old bike in the mountains. I think he was disappointed when I told him it wasn't as old as he thought.

Assuming I'll be riding a bicycle again someday, I ordered this when I eventually need it.

The Tennessee State helmets look a LOT like the NYG helmets.
