There's a lot at Ancestry.com, obviously. I searched around on the internets an lucked out on my surname line as it had already been researched back to the 1500s. There are serious genealogists out there.
The counties in AZ are giant, though.
Oh.
I wasn't buzzed, but I had a Dodge roar by by this evening causing the ground to shake and man I love those guys.

i find that generally rally there are two types of drivers that are the culprits, “truck stuff” guys and twenty-somethings who’s car smells like pot when they pass

Yeah man. Watch for the plates with a prancing horse on them. The big city is quite the conundrum, as is merging. Though, merging seems to be a lost art nationwide, so no shade thrown there, I suppose.

It started out as "the left lane is the passing lane." Then it morphed to, "the left lane is the fast lane." If that's true, the next obvious step is "the right lane is the slow lane," right? A little later down the line, you get to the midwestern "don't use the right lane unless you think that your car might fall apart at any moment."
There are times that I can be on an interstate and see a dozen cars or more ahead of me and a dozen or more behind, yet no one in the right lane with me for more than a half mile in either direction. It's mind-boggling.

My SIL, a firefighter, has to quarantine for 2 weeks, 3 members of his company tested positive. He was already home with my daughter and 4 month old grandson, to say my wife and I are worried, does not begin to describe the feelings.
Please everyone, be careful and keep the distance.

At one time long ago, when I was young and poor, we lived in a first-floor half-sunken apartment, and the windows all viewed a barren rocky slope. I took to scattering large amounts of various birdseed and rodent pellets onto it so my poor boy at least had lots of wildlife to watch.
Then there was a time we were in a second-floor apartment (after we had to move out of the first because it got mold-infested) and he saw a deer in the empty adjacent lot. He immediately adopted the posture that he wanted to go hunt it, not really understanding perspective.
I miss him.

Spot was enjoying my cup of green tea this morning, before moving on to the communal(dogs) water bowl. He drank a lot at both venues. I, of course, had to get a new cup for myself.

You know that whisper game, where someone whispers something to the person next to them and then it's passed on and on, getting tweaked slightly here and there, until it reaches the last person and it's been twisted in to something nonsensical? Yeah, I feel like that's what's happened with driving, and the people in the midwest were the last to get the message.

You're not a Sharpei, you're a mouse the was a bear, at one time. Though, you're a Vol through and through.
Chickens are quite the mystery to her. They don't move like a squirrel, rabbit, or cat - they move funny. They come up to the fence to look at her, and don't seem afraid. Not at all normal behavior at all.

The hotel gyms are closed, and I would like to know why?
Before I sound like a complete idiot, let me explain my reasoning.
Most hotels that I have the pleasure of staying at the gyms are extremely small, and 9 times out of 10 I would be the only person in there. They always have wipes to wipe down equipment, and almost all of them have hand sanitizer present as well.
Shouldn’t this be something you do at your own risk? If I got to the gym and people were in it during this crisis I would opt out, but if I was the only one in there I don’t see the issue. Plus, if I gets the virus, I wouldn’t know where it came from, nor could I ever prove that it came from the gym.
I tried arguing this at a couple different hotels, and got no where.
Am I out of place here?
