Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I haven't been to the local fair in 20+ years.

Beyond seeing what kind of people are there, I don't know that much would interest me beyond the giant produce.

News you can use:
I rode 224 times last year. all of which were outside thanks to the awesome Marigold jacket. All of the 224 were also solo rides. I'm sure that doesn't surprise anybody.

I have had my new rig for about three months now and I really enjoy it a lot. It's a much smoother ride and much more comfortable. I am very pleased with the purchase.

Distance 822.3 mi

Elev Gain 39,088 ft
Rides 29

All rides were outside. No awesome jacket. I think all rides were alone. No new rig. I need a new saddle and better drugs.

I'm not so sure about that. But what I think doesn't matter. It's what "they" think.

A major spike in gas prices during an election year didn’t exactly help the incumbents last time.
