We don't need the gratuitous "u" here.

I find the term ute for a young person highly amusing. here ute means a light truck like a Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux or the old Holden Commodore Ute (a modified saloon car with a tray instead of rear seats and boot). Every time I see when I was a ute my brain automatically thinks that you are comparing yourself to a light commercial vehicle.
Ever see "My Cousin Vinny"?

Ute is a tribe of Native Americans. And Utes are attendees of the University of Utah.
I didn't realize Rangers and Hiluxes were considered utes. We've had a few what I'd consider utes in the US market, but I don't believe any are available now.

Woke up to a pre-dawn temp of 45°. Maybe it's time to get a new, better BFTB Peloton.

Missed this morning. Dog did not like the new house and was barking the whole night. Wife didn’t want to put her outside or in the garage.
Took some time to study my route last night, looks like the only way I will feel comfortable getting back to my neighborhood is coming from the west. I will probably always leave east bound, but in order to get back will have to loop around. Not the biggest deal but will take some getting used to.
Basically my neighborhood is right off Route 60 which is a pretty busy. No shoulder, and if I come back from the east, there are some rolling hills which will make it really hard for cars to see me.

Spot on. It is very cool.
Way back when, Mrs. LAJ took it upon herself to go get me a Toro because she was tired of watching me keep the old pos we had alive. I'm thinking 15-18 years ago. It's a wonderful machine, but it's getting to the point that I used hose clamps as lever stops, and has some slight noise on start up, etc. It looked good from a distance, but you get up close and you can see me handiwork. The last time I mowed, there was a new vibration, and I just thought it was time.
That Kobalt killed it. It's a 6ah 80 volt battery, and I feel like I'm picking up my truck battery when I load it in. I had half of a battery left, and that's after nearly an hour of mowing. Battery, charger and mower were basically half price, so I basically bought the battery, and got a lawn mower in the box with it.
They have snow blowers too, but I think I'll wait for the self propelled.

Sounds like the DougRNS estate. Break out your phone and measure the steepness.
